Fallen 45 makes a statement with new EP

If Fallen 45 isn’t a household name in the bass music scene, he will be soon. His debut release on Dub Police is a sonic assault full of low-frequency twists and turns. Straight out of Manchester, Fallen 45 expertly crafts a sound that is cutting edge while paying homage to the true roots of dubstep and bass music. This EP has been getting bigged up by the likes of Caspa and The Others and it’s not hard to see why.

The synth work is phenomenal, with sci-fi swirls infused with retro bleeps, all sat atop menacing basslines. If you ever needed proof that dubstep is alive and well, this is it right here. A fresh, talented producer, pushing boundaries and steering clear of cliche pitfalls and wub wub pantomime.

Our fav tune on the EP by far is Realisations. That cut-up vocal is on another level and the dark 80s soundtrack vibe is monstrous.

A producer to watch out for in 2016. Listen to the preview below or buy from Bandcamp.
